Kang-Ki LEE

Graduated (National) Korea Maritime & Ocean University in 1981 and awarded Master of Science in 1991 majoring Internal Combustion Engine. Studied management skill through Advanced Industrial Program at Seoul National University in 2007 in addition to executive management course run by MAN Group associated with WHU in Germany and Said School of Oxford University in UK till 2010.

Worked 24 years for MAN Group including a service as CEO of MAN Diesel Korea since 2007 and Head of MAN Diesel & Turbo-machineries business units responsible for Korea, Japan & Taiwan till 2012. Moved to DSEC, subsidy of Daewoo Shipbuilding Group as Executive Senior Vice President responsible for Global Business Development and Marketing of Ships and Power Plants till August 2013. Currently serves as full professor for National Korea Maritime & Ocean University since September 2013.

Research and Interests focused on Energy Trend, LNG, Gaseous Fuel, Offshore Plants, Power Systems, Emission, and efforts on the development of Floating Power Plant, LNG Fueled Plants.

Served as Chair of World Ocean Forum & Kormarine Conference Program 2014 & 2015, Technical Member of German Lloyd and vice Chairman of Korea Marine Engineers Association, Korea Engineers Club, Auditor of KOFCE (Korea Assembly of CIMAC), Member of EUCCK, etc.
