Carlos Sentís

Chief Executive Officer of WIA (World Innovation Alliance)

Carlos Sentís is an international consultant in strategy, innovation and use of new technologies for the tourism industry and other sectors. He has worked as an advisor, consultant and trainer for more than 130 large companies and institutions in different countries, and has participated in more than 300 sessions or events for more than 40,000 people of 170 nationalities.

Carlos has collaborated with the United Nations World Tourism Organization, the European Union, the World Travel and Tourism Council, Tourism Innovation Summit, World Youth Forum, World Employment Confederation, UN Global Compact, Aena, Air China, China Eastern, Iberia, Turismo de Madrid, Sevilla, Barcelona, Valencia, Spain, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, China, SECTUR (Government of Mexico), Government of Peru, Government of Egypt, Government of Liberia, among others.

Some of the topics Carlos deals with as part of his work and training include: Using Artificial Intelligence for business development and resource optimisation, social impact through tourism, education and technology, public-private collaboration, international communication, corporate and institutional relations and destination innovation, promotion and marketing for tourism entities.

Carlos holds numerous positions in international organisations, being a board member of the World Humanitarian Forum (WHF), JEUNE (Young Entrepreneurs Organization of the European Union), member of the executive board of EECOLE of the OECD, professor at IE Business School, IE University, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Universidad CEU San Pablo, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Universidad Carlos III, among others. Carlos has taught at a total of 20 universities and business schools, including IESE Business School, UOP (UK), RIIM (India), DB Patay (India), Universidad Santo Tomás de Colombia, Kings College Nepal, Universidad Europea de Madrid, EU Business School, among others.
