José Ramón Díez Guijarro is Head of International Markets and Economies in La Caixa Bank Research. He has over 30 years of experience in several fields of macroeconomic analysis: monetary policies, country-risk, financing systems, etc. During these decades, he has combined his work as financing and economic analyst with teaching classes in several institutions: CEU, ICADE, etc. Currently, he is Lecturer of Spanish Economy in CUNEF. Also, he teaches Economic Environments and Country Analysis at the Spanish Business Institute.

Periodically, he writes opinion articles in several journals and media, such as Cuadernos de Información Económica, SEFO, ABC, Expansión, etc. He is member of different discussion forums on economic assessment such as GACE (Group of Analysts of Economic Situations).
