He has been a speaker at tourism events and congresses in Berlin, Colombia, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Martin de Oliva has worked at Banco Popular Dominicano since 1998, where he currently holds the position of. He has previously held the positions of Branch Manager, Area Vice President and Strategic Plan Manager.

In his current position at the head of a team focused on meeting the needs of the tourism sector, Banco Popular has been institutionally recognized by organizations in the sector, among which stand out, the Caribbean Tourism Exchange, ASONAHORES, the Samana Tourism Cluster, the Hotel Association of the Eastern Zone, the Caribbean Traveling Network, the Dominican Tourism Competitiveness Consortium and recently by the World Tourism Organization for the Bank’s support to this sector. But for Mr. Martin de Oliva the greatest recognition is that Banco Popular is named and considered “The Bank of Tourism” in the Dominican Republic.
