Jaime is passionate about the sea. Since he was a small child, he already sailed the waters of Alcudia Bay (Majorca, Spain) and has eye-witnessed the great deterioration that the Mediterranean Sea has suffered during the last decades. Graduate in Business Administration and Management, Master in Tourism Economy and Environment, and Expert in Management of “lean & agile” projects, he has over 3 years of working experience in the private sector (economic-financial area, hospitality industry) and over 15 years of experience in the public sector working in the definition and implementation of strategies, coordination of regional and European projects (sustainable tourism, I+D+i, competitiveness, etc.) and on management of innovation.
By the end of March 2020, he had the opportunity of joining his best possible professional challenge: work to achieve that our children can enjoy a safe and clean Mediterranean Sea! Since then, as Office Manager of the Save the Med Foundation, he is responsible for the legal, economic and operational aspects of this Foundation, and he also participates in the coordination of projects and in the definition of the strategic lines of the institution.
