Inés Páez Nin (Chef Tita)

Gastronomic ambassador and advisor for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic

Known as Chef Tita, she has been described as the “Ambassador of the New Dominican Cuisine.” She owns and is the head chef of the restaurant “Morisoñando”, in Santo Domingo. Moreover, she is fostering along with the Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs the project “Gastronomic Diplomacy in the Dominican Republic” with the aim of promoting Dominican gastronomy as a country branding. Equally, she has participated in numerous tourist and gastronomic fairs representing Dominican cuisine and she is also promoter of solidary movements, such as Fogones Gastronomía Solidaria (Stoves for Solidary Gastronomy) or Fundación Ima. Chef Tita is also known for being a jury member of the TV program Dominican Republic Mastercherf.
